Appointments:
Ananda Salon and Skin Center encourages our guests to always pre-book their appointments to ensure that you get the time, stylist and service you are desiring. Please arrive on time so your service can be flawless. If you are running late, we will do everything we can to accommodate you but keep in mind that you may have to reschedule your appointment as a result.
ONLINE BOOKING: A 50% deposit will be taken at the time of booking. You will receive a call from us confirming the day and time of your appointment.
NOTE: Effective July 2019, we no longer process tips via credit or debit card. Thank you for bringing cash to show your appreciation for your service.
Cancellations:
As a courtesy to our technicians and guests, a 24 hour notice is expected when you need to cancel or reschedule. If a no-show or cancellation happens after the 24 hour period, you may be required to provide a deposit for your future appointments.
At Ananda, we honor that life happens unexpectedly and give grace to the fact that sometimes as human beings we forget things. Our policy has always been that as a courtesy for the majority of our services we require a 24 hour notice to cancel an appointment to our technicians and our guest, if there is a larger cancellation window we will update you along with that service. We still ask for a minimum of 24 hours notice and would like to be transparent on our policies behind it:
1st Late Cancel: there is no penalty but the guest will be made aware of our policy and what to expect moving forward.
2nd Late Cancel: the guest will be charged a $25 dollar fee to help cover some of the time lost by the technician.
3rd Late Cancel: the guest will be expected to put down a 50% service deposit that is refundable should they need to reschedule and cancel within the time period designated to cancel the appointment. Any cancellation outside of the cancellation window will result in a loss of deposit to cover the time of the technician. The service deposit will go toward the cost of the service on the day it is provided. The service deposit will be required with booking future services until the technician feels comfortable that the guest does not require a deposit to book.
4th Late Cancel: the guest will be expected to put down a 100% service deposit that is refundable should they need to reschedule and is within the time period designated to cancel the appointment. Any cancellation outside of the cancellation window will result in a loss of deposit to cover the time of the technician. The service deposit will go toward the cost of the service on the day it is provided. The service deposit will be required with booking future services until the technician feels comfortable that the guest does not require a deposit to book.
All service providers have the right to choose not to service a guest if they so desire and this information will be conveyed to the guest. Any guest has the right to see another service provider if they so desire as well. Please keep in mind that the policy will apply to previous and new technicians that a guest might choose to see.
Our policies are in place to protect our technicians and their income, late cancellations make it very difficult to fill a gap in a technicians day and we are hopeful that together we can avoid implementing these policies.
Services:
At Ananda Salon and Skin Center, we strive to create the ideal look for each guest. Should we not complete your look to your satisfaction, please contact us within 7 days of your original service so that we may make it flawless.
Redo scheduling is done and provided by your original service provider. If you do not wish to see your original service provider, scheduling approval is under the discretion of management.
The redo service must be scheduled within 14 days of the original service.
The redo policy does not cover a change in the style or color initially requested.
Please allow us to style your hair after your service as the results are most accurately evaluated on properly finished hair. If you choose to leave the salon before the styling service is completed, you are relinquishing your rights to a redo service.
Any redo requests made after 7 days from the original service date will be under the discretion of management approval.
Complimentary redo services or refunds are not available on color corrections.
Refunds are not available on services.
Ananda will not be liable nor offer redo services for hair color that has been done outside of our salon.
We cannot guarantee a color service if the guest has previously had color done outside of our salon.
Products:
It’s important to us that you have the appropriate products at home for hair or skin care regimens. If for some reason your product does not meet your need or expectation, you may return it within 14 days of the original sale for a full refund with digital or paper receipt.
